VCI Solutions' VISION Scholarship Award

Springfield, MA January 8, 2009 - VCI Solutions, a provider of software solutions for broadcast and cable operations, announced that Christi Mitchell has been chosen to receive the first annual VISION Scholarship Award sponsored by VCI Solutions and selected by the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) Scholarship Committee.  Mitchell is an undergraduate student studying Broadcast Communications at Oklahoma Baptist University.  As the VISION Scholarship Award winner, Christi will receive $1,500 from VCI Solutions to aid in her 2009-2010 school year.

BEA has made an applauded effort in educating tomorrow’s media for over 50 years.  This year the BEA Scholarship Committee selected a total of 15 winners across 14 different campuses to receive a scholarship for the 2009-2010 school years.  The scholarship awards and ceremony will take place April 23, 2009 during BEA’s Annual Convention co-located with NAB and RTNDA in Las Vegas, NV.
